2007-01-04 [Hedda]: I mean: It said "They still belong to me, [sequeena_rae]" which is pretty unclear about what you can use them for. That you "don't mind" doesn't mean that you maybe suddenly can drag the users to court and demand royalties, so people will avoid using the images.

Then if someone lies about that they took the photos, they are assholes that should be shot (at least a little in the butt), but that goes without saying.

We would like to expand the reference pictures and encourage members to donate them, by having a badge for it. But it would be nice if we had someone to look after it and since you created this page you would be the best choice :)

2007-09-26 [Hedda]: The license are written on the respective subpages. All my photos here are public domain, so you can use them for anything. [sequeena_rae] just wrote that her images were free too.

1) The pages aren't exported. That makes them very hard to find.
2) They aren't "free" (liberated) images. [pixish]'s might be OK, if you read the demand for credit as a suggestion. [Jitter]'s demand for a link back and restrictions of usage is not compatible with free images. Have a look at the definition on http://www.opensource.org/docs/osd

But apart from being "free", I would strongly suggest that the images are also usable in "closed works". Otherwise they can only be used in GPL:ed environments like GPL-programs, Wikipedia or free Elftown wiki-pages.

2007-10-09 [Hedda]: You're too happy to create sub-pages. I killed your horse-page as Horse Reference Pictures is exactly made to be an index-page of horse reference pictures. No point of having index-pages to an index-page about the same thing.

Trees Reference Pictures seems a little pointless to me. Only 4 links there. But OK, if there is coming more stuff there.
